R.V. Evans Stands with the Folds!
Date Posted: 3/18/2016
Each year, R.V. Evans Company selects a charity to support, and this year our employees have chosen to support Folds of Honor. This charity is such a great cause to stand behind. Funds are raised for scholarships that go to children of fallen or service-connected disabled veterans. To date, Folds of Honor has provided assistance to over 5,000 scholarship recipients. Throughout the year, R.V. Evans Company will raise funds in a variety of ways to donate to Folds of Honor. Kelly Evans, President of R.V. Evans Company, said “As in years past, we feel privileged to help raise awareness and offer others a chance to be a part of making a difference to those families who have given so much for our Country. Folds of Honor provides a wonderful opportunity to extend the gift of education to spouses and children of America’s fallen and wounded soldiers. I am honored and proud to stand beside those at our company who voted to support such a noble mission this year.”
R.V. Evans Company has always been committed to serving our countries veterans. In 2014, the company supported Honor Flight as the charity of the year, and welcomed home veterans from their day trip to see the WWII memorial in Washington D.C. Along with charity events, R.V. Evans Company began a tradition of holding a flag raising ceremony for Armed Forces Day each year. When asked why charities supporting our veterans and U.S. Armed Forces have been such an important part of the R.V. Evans Company’s culture, Kelly Evans proudly responded with “We have always had a passion for showing our humble support to those who have served our country both past and present. From the Veterans within our company to those in each of our communities, we owe a great deal of gratitude for their service and sacrifice in defending the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of this great nation!”
